Are you over 55 years of age and preparing for a job search? Supportive Services offers a free employment training.  Our 3 hour workshop covers all aspects of obtaining employment. The workshop will cover, but not limited to:

  • Resume & Cover Letter Preparation
  • Interview Preparation
  • Salary Negotiation
  • Hard & Soft Skill Analysis

These services are for people over the age of 55 living within Erie County, New York.

Resume & Cover Letter Preparation

Resume preparation, as well as, direction on how to format a scanner ready resume. Know how to create and format an effective cover letter.

Interview Preparation

Know how to interview, prepare for questions and how to research a company. APA - appearance, personality and attitude, how important is it?

Salary Negotiation

Know the rules of negotiation and resources available in determining salary.

Hard & Soft Skill Analysis

Identify and develop an inventory of your transferable skills (hard skills) and soft skills (personal characteristics. Identify your capabilities of what you can do and accomplishments of what have done.
